Capturing Production Shopfloor Data

Production is the heart of every manufacturing unit but capturing this data is time consuming. OurSys ERP therefore has multiple ways to capture production data allowing the users to select whatever method suits them the best.

The multiple ways to capture production in OurSys

All the methods are available under the 'Production Module' under 'Production Data Capture' section. Different methods suit different scenarios.

Daily Production

In this method, fields being captured are shown in a single form in a clean and clear format.

To improve the speed of data entry, this comes with a feature of pre-setting fields using the filter icon. Pre-set fields are pre-filled.

To speed-up data entry further, users can click on 'Save & New' button to save and reopen the form with pre-filled data for next entry.

Job Order wise Daily Production

In this method, the production entry of all the processes of a particular selected Job Order can be entered in one go. All the fields appear in the grid for various processes and users can fill up the grid and save multiple production entries in one go.

Machine wise Daily Production

This method is similar to Job Order wise Daily Production. Here the data entry of multiple productions is done for a particular machine and operator in one go.

Shop wise Daily Production

This method is also similar to Job Order wise Daily Production. Here the data entry of multiple productions can be done for a particular shop in one go. This is useful for shop supervisors to quickly enter their shop data at the end of the shift.

Production data capture against Production Schedule

This method is useful when production scheduling is done through OurSys ERP.

Most of the fields of daily production are covered in scheduling therefore data entry is speeded up. Further, this data is available in the form of a grid and multiple production entries can be done in one go. This makes the process super fast.

Production data capture in Real Time

This is our most popular method of capturing data as the data is captured in real time. This is a practical alternative to iOT based production capture.

This data capture can be done using a tablet as well. Operator or supervisor captures using the Start and Stop functions with minimal data entry.

Important report such as Bird's Eye View of Production, Machine OEE and Shopfloor Flow Meeting become more meaningful as lower productivity can be identified, analysed and addressed in real time.

Multiple Job Orders in one Production Activity

In some processes, like the oven or furnace, items of multiple job orders get processed in one production activity.

OurSys has this unique feature to enter single production entry affecting multiple job orders.

This feature ensures correctness of Machine Utilisation and Operator efficiency and thus the OEE.
